From the Theory of Vocal Pedagogy to Practice. Based on the Results of the International Scientific and Practical Conference

Abstract

On December 15–16, 2022, the International Russian-Chinese scientific and practical conference “Problems and Prospects for Improving the Initial Period of Teaching Academic Singingˮ was held at the Belgorod State University of Arts and Culture (BSUAC). The forum, which was held with the connection of a remote mode of operation, was devoted to both general pedagogical problems and practical issues of the vocal teachers’ activities. The attention was paid to the development of the singerʼs artistic thinking, the pedagogical improvement of vocal technique, musical and singing ear. The largest number of papers was related to the pedagogy of the initial educational period. At the Forum were also presented practical papers, including a lesson fragments demonstration, working over a vocal piece master-classes.
The papers of foreign participants were accompanied by translation. All materials are posted in the cloud storage on the address indicated in this article and on the BSUAC website. They can be used as teaching aids for training vocalists.
