Abstract

The flute as an artistic image is filled with extreme range of meanings
which are present in the world culture. The article is dedicated to
philosophical and artistic-aesthetic discussion of the motive of
«humanization of flute,» its personification in music and adjacent arts
forms, from the ancient times until nowadays.
