Abstract

The author considers one kind of Vietnamese theater, Kai Luong,
which, in much greater degree than, for example, theaters Teo and Tuong,
has become adapted to the contemporary cultural conditions of the country.
This form of theater is presented in the article in the context of interaction
of Vietnamese traditions with the variety of contemporary
European cultural trends.
