Abstract

The article offered to the reader is an actual scientific study devoted to the formation of music criticism and journalism in Bashkiria, which is an unexplored and unresolved problem. The state of music criticism has always been important primarily for compositional creativity, its evaluation in the public consciousness, as well as for the functioning of art in a cultural environment. When creating this text, the author relied on the materials of the National Archive of the Republic of Bashkortostan, namely one of the funds belonging to the Union of Composers of the Republic of Belarus. The time period reflected in the article is very complex and layered.
Therefore, the main aspect chosen is the one that seems essential – the refraction on the territory of Bashkiria of one of the “cornerstonesˮ of the all-Union documents: Resolutions of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the CPSU(b) “On the opera Great Friendship by V.I. Muradeliˮ.

Keywords: music criticism, Union of Composers of the BASSR, Union of Composers of the USSR, Resolutions of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the CPSU(b) “On the opera Great Friendship by V.I. Muradeliˮ, journalistic materials, archival documents, literary style.
