Some Peculiarities of Working on Instrumental Sonata with Piano in Chamber Ensemble Class

Abstract

The article deals with the issues of ensemble music making, which currently remains an extremely popular type of performing activity. It is emphasized that the work on an ensemble piece has a number of features due to the different dynamic and timbre capabilities of the partner instruments, the need for creative compromise of the ensemble members, as well as the stylistic patterns of the chamber genre. Using the example of an instrumental sonata with piano, the stages of working on an ensemble composition which include textual and timbre analysis of the score are shown. At the same time, the peculiarities of the interpretation of the composerʼs (notated or objective-compositional) and performing (relatively notated or subjective-interpretive) means of musical expression are noted.
