Аннотация

Предмет музыкальной ономатопеи – исследование имитации звуков окружающей среды музыкальными инструментами – был долгое время незаслуженно причислен к незначительным явлениям в Западной академической музыкальной традиции. Автор предлагает новый подход к этому явлению, основанный на изучении терминологии и критики ономатопеи в музыковедческой литературе. Данное предварительное исследование представляет первый шаг на пути к специализированным исследованиям, включающим аспекты акустики,  психоакустики, музыкального анализа и исторического музыкознания.
